2017 ALL AFRICA 9-BALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2017 All Africa 9-Ball Championships were hosted by the Tunisian Association of Billiard Games (ATJB) in Hammamet

The 2017 All Africa 9-Ball Championships were hosted by the Tunisian Association of Billiard Games (ATJB) in Hammamet Yasmine, Tunisia from 12th to 15th May 2017. It was encouraging to note that approximately 60 players from Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Tunisia and Libya participated in the event.

Souheil Fatnassi from host federation was instrumental in organizing the event, while Mohamed Chakib from Algeria was the Tournament Coordinator. The event sponsors were Andy Billiard Cloth and Cyclops Pool Balls.

Mustapha Trabelsi (Tunisia) triumphed over Jeremiah Naidoo (South Africa) to become 2017 All Africa 9-ball Champion. Fekrash Amin (Algeria) was third and Besbas Feisal (Algeria) finished fourth. The champion, Mustapha, gained an automatic entry into the 2017 World 9-Ball Men’s Championships.
